The graduate students of the University of California, Berkeley invite your attendance at the Twelfth Annual University of California Transportation Center (UCTC) Student Conference on Thursday, February 9th through Saturday, February 11th 2006.

The Conference will open Thursday with an informal evening reception. Friday's activities will include student research presentations; poster sessions; a luncheon address by William Lieberman, Deputy Director for Planning for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority; and the Mel Webber Lecture by Sir Peter Hall, Bartlett Professor of Planning and Regeneration at University College London, Professor Emeritus of City and Regional Planning at UC Berkeley. Sir Peter was awarded the 2005 Balzan Prize for his contributions to the study of the social and cultural history of cities. Saturday activities will include a transportation-related tour in the morning, details to be forthcoming.
