Dissertation Grants UCTC awarded 6 doctoral dissertation grants for 2009-2010. Doctoral Dissertation Grant Applications Eligibility Both US and international students may apply for dissertation grants. For US citizens and permanent residents, dissertation fellowships will be established and the funds may be used for any purpose allowable by the students’ home campus. International students are not eligible for fellowships but may be awarded dissertation projects; they will be asked to submit budgets for the expenditure of the dissertation project funds and must adhere to the approved budgets. Budgets may cover nonresident tuition, in-state fees, salaries, benefits, and research expenses including travel. Applications Dissertation grant application deadlines are THE FIRST MONDAY OF NOVEMBER AND THE FIRST MONDAY OF APRIL of each year. Funds will be provided in the Winter / Spring term for November awards, and in the early fall for April awards. The application may be downloaded here (Word) and here (PDF).
